Advanced Care Wellness Center | Web Site Design |

Project: Website design
Role: Creative Director / Designer / Developer
Client: Advanced Care Wellness Center
Advanced Care Wellness Center specializes in rejuvenation and body sculpting services. Their previous web site was generic, uninspiring, and was positioning them as a commodity. We helped rejuvenate their brand with richer audience focused website content around their products and services, improved the marketing and promotions of their offerings, and elevated their brand to a premier choice for consumers. And this makeover has really paid off – their phone hasn't stopped ringing!

Johnson & Johnson | Web Site Design |

Project: Concept for corporate web site design
Role: Creative Director / Strategist / Designer / Copywriter
Client: Johnson & Johnson
Johnson & Johnson has several struggles with their current corporate web site – it feels like an information portal with an overwhelming number of choices, it erodes brand opinions in those that experience it, corporate programs seem unloved, and it's a challenge to do the basic of tasks like trying to find your way to one of their brand web sites. This concept tackled all those problems in a easy to digest and easy to play with experience that revives the corporate brand.

Anheuser-Busch / Peels Beverage Co. | Web Site Design |

Project: Web site design
Role: Creative Director / Strategist / Designer / Copywriter
Client: Peels Beverage Company
Peels was the launch of a new cosmopolitan-styled alcohol beverage brand for Anheuser-Busch, and the web site was created to drive product awareness and trial. For the website design for Peels Beverage Co., I was inspired by the Tazo Tea site and how little elements can create a more engaging online experience. So I focused on getting audiences involved, developing compelling taste and experience oriented copy, and subtle animations like effervescence and moisture drops on the bottles. For the Peels Beverage website project we also enriched the brand experience with targeted content for the primarily female consumer audience that included drink recipes, party planners, fashion and flavor news, and a variety of downloadable brand artifacts. Some of these artifacts included flavor centric desktop wallpapers, which later inspired a whole line of my retro modern abstract prints, and mousepad designs. Finally we drove awareness for the brand and website through a coordinated campaign of banner advertisements and online placments and partnerships.

UW Health Hospitals and Clinics | Web Site Design |

Project: Intranet design
Role: Creative Director / Strategist / Designer
Client: UW Health Hospital and Clinics
After unifying their brand online, the UW Health CEO tasked us to look at their intranet, to help unify their brand internally and empower their 9000+ employees scattered across dozens of locations. The client gave us the challenge to design an award winning Intranet for them. Since hospital employees roles and specialty areas could change on a daily basis, I designed an Intranet that was flexible and created customizable playlists of business applications and resources that they could tailor for their different tasks and assignments. The Intranet also became a powerful communication tool for the organization, helping to bridge the distances between employees, share innovations and learnings, and collaborate.

Project: Public web site design,
2003

| Educational Credential Evaluators | Web Site Design |

Project: Design of ECE.org
Role: Creative Director / Strategist / Designer / Copywriter
Client: Educational Credential Evaluators
At first, ECE simply wanted to refresh the design of their
web site, but I showed them an opportunity to lead their industry by becoming
the first to actually transact business online. They agreed, and I started
by redesigning their brand identity, and then designing a customer-service
focused online experience. The new site has given ECE a clear competitive
advantage – the conversion of website visitors into customers has skyrocketed,
the web site has dramatically increased their revenue, and defined them as a
leader both online and offline.
