Client: Peels Beverage Company [Anheuser-Busch]
Peels was the launch of a new cosmopolitan-styled alcohol beverage brand for Anheuser-Busch, and the web site was created to drive product awareness and trial. For the website design for Peels Beverage Co., I was inspired by the Tazo Tea web site and how small experiential elements can create more engagement. So I focused on getting audiences involved, developing compelling taste and experience oriented copy, and subtle animations like effervescence and moisture drops on the bottles to create a virtual drinking sensation. For the Peels Beverage website project we help drive product affinity with targeted content for the primarily female consumer audience that included drink recipes, party planners, fashion and flavor news, and a variety of downloadable brand artifacts. Some of these downloads included flavor-centric desktop wallpapers, and these designs later inspired a whole line of my retro modern abstract prints, and mousepad designs. Finally we drove awareness for the brand and website through a coordinated campaign of banner advertisements, and online placments and partnerships.
